Our 1 day Murchison Falls trip takes you to Uganda’s most visited national park. Located in the northeastern part of Uganda, it spreads from the shores of Lake Albert around the Victoria Falls up to the Karuma Falls. Murchison Falls National Park is managed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and was first gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 and is also considered the oldest and largest conservation area. On this day tour to Murchison Falls, we will do a game drive and visit the top of the falls. A must-not-miss is the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surroundings.
Itinerary for 1 day Murchison Falls Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls
After early-served breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Make an en route stop in Masindi town for breakfast and proceed to the park. Go for a game drive where you will be able to see as many animals as you can, most especially the early grazers. Later, go for a visit to the top of the falls, where you are provided with opportunities for taking good photographs because of the beautiful scenery. Later transfer to Kampala in time for evening relaxation.
