Our 3 days Murchison Falls trip takes you to Uganda’s most visited national park. Located in the northeastern part of Uganda, it spreads from the shores of Lake Albert, around the Victoria Falls, up to the Karuma Falls. Murchison Falls National Park is managed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and was first gazetted as a game reserve in 1926 and is also considered the oldest and largest conservation area. On this 3-day tour to Murchison Falls, we will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and later transfer to Murchison Falls via the top of the falls. A must-not-miss is the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surroundings.

DAY 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After a refreshing breakfast, you will be met and greeted by our company representative, who will later give you a detailed briefing for the day ahead. Later transfer to Murchison Falls with an en route stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is one of the most thrilling experiences, as you get to track rhinos on foot. Later, en route, stop at Masindi town for lunch before proceeding to the park via Kichumbanyombo gate. Go for a visit to the top of the falls, and later check in at the booked lodge in time for evening relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls NP
This day starts with an early breakfast and a briefing for the day’s activities. You’ll embark on an exciting game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, exploring its diverse landscapes and encountering a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll experience a thrilling boat cruise along the Nile River, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the majestic Murchison Falls up close. Finally, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
